So on Sunday we had the first bath project/ceremony at our house. Jake's belly button fell off and everyone was so happy to get to give him a bath!! Camryn got the baby bath out as soon as we got home from the hospital, and was so dismayed to find out that we couldn't bathe him right away! She got to help with the first bath in the hospital and she loved that. Her and Brynn did a great job of getting all that pasty stuff off him. Every day Camryn and Brynn would ask - "Did his belly button fall off yet?" so on Sunday it was a joyous occasion when I announced the nub had indeed popped off!!! We shot some great video of it, but it turned out to be a little x rated. Not much of his FACE in that movie! So Daddy and I shot a PG rated version today, and it is below...
Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging! It does make keeping up with family on the other side of the country easier. Samantha loved watching the bath video. First she thought it was Chloe, the cousin Alex (Jen's baby). Now she knows she has another cousin. Congrats!
