On the afternoon of March 6, 2009 our son Jason Alexander Kossan, II blessed our world with his presence. Mommy labored for 6 1/2 hours, and baby weighed 8 lbs 3 oz. He measured in at 21" long. We named him after his Daddy, but in order to eliminate confusion, and since his initials are JAK, we'll call him Jake. Not Jack. And definately not Junior...
Baby Jake wasn't due until the 12th, but we'd been talking to him and telling him how anxious we were that he was coming, so he didn't make us wait any longer than we needed to. His Apgar was high, and everything was perfect! He didn't even cry when they pricked his heel!
Mommy and Daddy and Baby went home the next morning, and ended up only being away from home for 24 hours. He is a champion nurser and does everything just as the book says he should! :)
